China Gets Serious About Clean Energy Patents
The establishment of the new Clean Energy intellectual Property Commercialization Center in Dalian shows China’s focus promoting development of clean energy technology.
The new institute is expected to build a complete system to promote research and development as well as international technical cooperation in the field of clean energy. The center will identify technology demand from the industry and provide technical solutions.
The center will help integrate patent resources and form a chain of patents in the clean energy field. The goal is to promote easy commercialization of patents in clean energy technologies.
Patents will play a fundamental role in international cooperation and competition in the clean energy sector. The center will launch pilot work to explore new patent commercialization modes in the field of clean energy technology.
